The Philippines is experiencing devastation after Super Typhoon Haiyan struck last Friday 8 November, killing, injuring and displacing thousands of people and destroying whole communities.

The typhoon - one of the worst storms on record - brought strong winds, heavy rain and giant ocean waves that destroyed homes, buildings, schools, roads and food crops.

Many people are now struggling to survive without food, shelter or clean drinking water.
