The more we are united to God, the more we are united to one another. Each time we receive

Communion, our union will become more perfect. For being united with Our Lord, we shall also remain united to one another. That is why the holy reception of this heavenly Bread and of this sacrament is called Communion, that is, common union.

The Eucharist is the real and spiritual presence of Christ. When

we receive the Eucharist, our Lord carries us and does deeds in us

altogether performed by Him. In the Eucharist, all He asks is our

co-operation in the practice of virtue and good works. Our Savior

gives Himself totally to us in the Divine Sacrament.

We are called to give ourselves totally to Him who strengthens

and nourishes us with His life-giving love in the Eucharist.

The Office for Catholic Schools of the Diocese of Greensburg, is

Principal at our Divine Redeemer School. Qualified candidates

relating as far back as 1918.

• In the year of 1957, Fr. Gregory Rokosz, had plans drawn up and construction started for the rectory of the parish. Fr. Rokosz never had the opportunity to live in the rectory, but instead was called

to his heavenly home on October 1, 1958.

The 100th Anniversary Committee is looking for St. Lawrence

memorabilia to display in St. Lawrence Hall during the

100th Celebration. Any art work, pictures, or any other historic

items that you would have would be greatly appreciated.
