Pastor's Reflections: Grace and peace, y’all, Thank you again for the warm welcome and especially for welcoming my family. It was a treat to have my parents and sister in the congregation and it was nice to have Colby join us at the end of lunch. They have all commented on how wonderful y’all were to them. I mentioned last week that the scripture passage (Ephesians 1:3-14) is one long sentence in the Greek. If you get a chance, I encourage you to take a look at your favorite English translation and reflect on what God might have to say to you and our community. The syntax is jagged and complicated to read and understand, but maybe this is a case where form and content reflect one another. Paul is trying to express the magnitude and mystery of God’s blessing, a daunting endeavor to be sure. But also, a worthwhile thing to meditate on. As we study Scripture, God works in the midst of our striving to gain knowledge and understanding. As you may well know, the Christian walk is full of mystery, but it’s also full of promise and hope. God reveals this good plan for us in Christ, that we may be saved and have abundant life together. My hope for you this week is that you would have an opportunity to take stock of all the goodness in your life. What are you grateful for? Pastor's Reflections:

Grace and peace, y’all,

Thank you again for the warm welcome and especially for welcoming my family.
