CVP is ready to launch! Community Volunteer Program
CVACC will be launching their Regional Community Volunteer Program, CVP, mid-January 2018, ahead of schedule. For the past several months we've been working on thisproject with our AmeriCorps VISTA, Sarah Haber and are now preparing to launch. We'vebeen testing technology, application and process and its working!
Conceived by our CEO about 6 years ago, while running a regional nonprofit and seeing asignificant change in the volunteer base that was needed to grow that organization, she setabout a plan to change the way we look at volunteerism and our nonprofit businessmodels. Now we can do just that!
If you are seeking volunteers for an event or just for a brief time each week and finding it difficult to fill those roles, you are not alone. Arizona runs on volunteers and they are still available-just looking for a different way to makethat happen with no monthly meetings, no commitment to your cause forever and most of all flexibility. We canmake that happen!
This program is designed for volunteers who want to find opportunities and those non-profits and service clubswho need them to run their events and projects. Sign up to volunteer or as an organization to find volunteers thereis no cost to participate. Contact CVACC, 928.636.2493 or email [email protected]
