Home to many school children who lived on historic Quaker Hill in Pawling in the early days. This one room schoolhouse has had many lives, the most recent being the home to Real Estate mogul Barbara Corcoran of the famed Corcoran Group in New York City and the star of Shark Tank. Barbara and her architect transformed this antique into the comfortable home it is today.

The sunken garden with well crafted stonework, bluestone patios, circular steps at both ends of the garden are artfully designed.

The expansive one acre of lawns lends itself to a game of touch football or catch. The garden shed is available to store all your tools and games.

The Oblong trail runs along the back of the property, which allows easy access to miles of hiking, cross country skiing or riding trails.

The neighboring barn and hangar was home to many of the local aviators seen taking off and landing throughout the summer months.

The two story living room

One of the former students in this painting became an artist. Many years ago he had painted all the students from an old photo. He decided to use the canvas for another project and painted over the old painting. Later, he decided to reuse the canvas and start fresh. He sanded off the old oil and viola, the students showed through. He visited his old friend Roger Smith and inquired about who lived in the school house. He knocked on the door and presented his painting. It was as though it were made to fitk perfectly over the fireplace.

The oversized, custom French doors open onto the front deck, with climbing hydrangea over the lattice and chimney. Lovely sunrises to the east from Connecticut and pastoral views.
