How time flies. We are now in thelast quarter of 2009 and the yearwill soon come to a close. It is justunfortunate that the run up to thisperiod was marked withunpleasant circumstances.

Just as everyonewas getting readyto shift

into the holiday mood already, a stormwreaked havoc on the nation’scapital and other areas in Luzon—dumping record-breaking volume ofrain in just a few hours. The resultingcalamity was just unimaginable. Vastareas laid submerged in deep

floodwater, thousands of peopleneeded help, and sadly, hundredsof lives were also lost.

We were not spared from thecalamity, too. Our refilling plantin Zambales was totally engulfed

by the rampaging floods. A numberof our stores in many areas were

also affected.

For most of ourkababayan, the task ofrecovery can bedaunting. But the Filipino

spirit, I know, isindomitable. It is nowtime to pick up thepieces and count ourblessings.

For all of us in theP R G a z H a u s

challenges and difficulties but, rather, as opportunities.

As our products are essentialcommodities especially during thesetimes, now, more than ever, customers count on our unfailingservice. This is our opportunity toexceed their expectations.

As exceptional delivery of servicecan only be achieved if people andresources work seamlessly andefficiently together, the mission ofour organization requires nothingless. This is our opportunity to gatherour collective strength.

As vision defines the path of acompany’s future, the realization ofthe goals we have set depends, inpart, on the commitment of everyonein the PR Gaz Haus family. This is ouropportunity to give our individual best.
