Come learn more about the services available to students in the new Honors, Scholars, and Fellows House. During the building tours, students will be able to see potential study rooms as well as the new Graduate School Suite where the Office of Graduate Fellowships and Awards, the Office of Postdoctoral Affairs, The Fellows Society, as well as the Program for Instructional Excellence are all now housed. Attend this workshop to learn about the various sponsors for dissertation research in STEM, Humanities and Social Sciences. Whether your work will involve travel in the US, international-ly or using secondary data, there is funding for you. We will also discuss what you can do in your pre-dissertation years to ensure you are a competitive applicant.

The Soros Fellowship ApplicationTuesday, May 13th; 3:00 – 4:00 pmAre you a new American who was born on or after November 1, 1983? Then you should consider applying for the Paul and Daisy Soros Fellowships for New Amer-icans. This Fellowship awards students up to $45,000 in maintenance grants and tuition. This workshop will discuss the re-quirements of Soros and also offer helpful advice for preparing your application.
