“With a post-graduate degree in Engineering anda solid career in Product Development, my friendsand colleagues expected me to develop a careerin the technical area. When I saw that the prod-ucts we were developing did not seem to sell well,I decided to change careers to try and understandwhy. The NUS MBA came in handy in that transi-tion – it allows me to develop a better under-standing of the dynamics of the market forcesand an insight into the causal relationships inbusiness. Joining Nokia right after I completed myNUS MBA was clearly a turning point in my career. In Nokia, I have the opportunity to be in a positionwhich requires balance between the business andtechnical skills.”
