THE NEXT GENERATION IN FLOOD PROTECTION TM Activates when wet! INSTRUCTIONS: EACH FLOOD BAG: S Place Quick Dams in the path of problem water S Quick Dams are activated when exposed to fresh water and will absorb & swell to create a barrier S During first activation, you will see white gelled particles in the stitching areas- this is normal & naturally decomposes S If a rush of water is expected, pre-soaking the Quick Dams and stacking them is recommended S Quick Dams may be left in position for long term flood protection, up to several months S Quick Dams are resuable - they grow when exposed to water and will shrink as water evaporates S Quick Dams may not be a solution for all situations S Adjust quantity used and stacking method to suit your specific situation * Not for use with salt water flooding ONCE ACTIVATED, USAGE OPTIONS: Leave in position & reuse S Grows when re-exposed to water S Shrinks while evaporating, lasts 6-12 months S Eventually contents degrade S As Quick Dams degrade, a “sliminess” will be present Allow complete evaporation & reuse S Be sure to keep dry in well ventilated area S Could take 2 + months depending on humidity S Once dry “crunchy” - store away for later use Speed decomposition for disposal S Leave in direct sunlight for months S Cut open bag & expose contents to direct sunlight S Soak in salt water S Simply throw in trash Quick Dams are safe, non-toxic & environmentally friendly. Starts as: .63lbs. each Grows to: 12” x 24” x 3.5” 32lbs. each (4gallons) PROPER FLOOD BAG STACKING: Pyramid: Overlapped and Stairstepped For proper stability, width should be 3 times height Patent Pending FLOOD BAGS
