UNIVERSITY OF MICHIGAN BASKETBALL
Crisler Center - Transforming “The House That Cazzie Built”
THE NEXT CHAPTER BEGINSMICHIGAN BASKETBALL SEATING PLAN
1
Next season, we will re-dedicate a brand new state-of-the-art basketball facility. The $98 million investment
will transform “The House That Cazzie Built” into what we are proud to now call “Crisler Center.” It will offer
new amenities for you, our fans, enhance the student-athlete experience and provide us with a showplace for
the future of Michigan Basketball.
The construction and re-design will elevate the game-day experience for our patrons. We will be re-seating the
arena for the 2012-13 season and we are creating premium seating opportunities that did not exist in the past.
As with all of our re-seatings, this re-seating will be based on priority points and will continue to recognize
our donors and season ticket-holders for their unwavering support of Michigan Athletics. We can think of
no better way to say “Thank You” than by rewarding your loyalty and long-term commitment to our teams.
With this change comes challenges … but we believe the Michigan Basketball Seating Plan as outlined is
equitable for all our great fans.
Your investment in Michigan Athletics is critically important to our athletics department. It enables us to
pursue our goal of being leaders and best in everything we do – and regularly compete for Big Ten and
NCAA championships. Your commitment allows us to continue our investment in our student-athletes,
coaches and facilities. Thanks for being an important member of the Michigan Athletics team!

The construction and re-design of Crisler Center
is halfway complete. With the introduction of the
William Davidson Player Development Center and the
first phase of renovation finished, we are excited to
introduce improved amenities, including additional
premium seating options, a high-definition scoreboard
and new seats throughout the arena. The final
phase of the arena renovation and expansion, to be
completed by January 2013, includes a private club
area, additional retail locations, concessions, ticketing
areas, restrooms and improved seating for individuals
with disabilities. The expanded concourse will also
include interactive displays highlighting the rich
tradition of all Michigan varsity athletic teams.
With an improved game-day experience, now is the
ideal time to re-align our seating configuration to
ensure that supporters of Michigan Basketball are in
seats consistent with their overall level of investment in
Michigan Athletics.
Michigan is committed to creating the most loyal
and dedicated basketball fans in the country. Be it
through years of giving to the Victors Club, or through
years of cheering on the Wolverines from the stands,
Michigan supporters make a difference in the lives of
our student-athletes.
You are a valued partner of Michigan Athletics. We
listened to your feedback and are granting season
ticket-holders a one-time Priority Point “Loyalty
Reward Bonus” towards the new Michigan Basketball
Seating Plan. This one-time bonus for past season
ticket purchases is in recognition of the important role
that loyal supporters have at Michigan.
The University of Michigan is fortunate to have
tremendous support from alumni, parents, friends
and current students. We acknowledge the impact
of your overall investment in Michigan through our
Priority Point Program. Your priority point total will
determine the time at which you will make your seat
selection (see page 4) based upon your preference
of seating options. We will rank every request within
every tier (see page 7) according to your Priority Point
total to develop an order in which you will select your
seats.
The Priority Point Program is an indicator of
your overall investment in Michigan. It takes into
consideration your lifetime giving to athletics,
consecutive years as a season ticket-holder, lifetime
giving to the University, U-M letterwinners and U-M
graduates. For more information on priority points,
please see pages 8-9.

Jack is a Michigan graduate and a current basketball season ticket-holder of 30 years and has never donated to Michigan Athletics. He is interested in getting two seats in the Valiant Tier ($200 per seat per year). His point total in comparison to others requesting the same tier qualifies him to sit in the Valiant Section. Jack fulfills the rest of his PSD for the Valiant Tier (half off in the first year) and selects his seats at his appointment time this summer. He will then pay for his season tickets in September.

EXAMPLESEXAMPLE 1
The above point total is an example to guide you and is not representative of priority points that qualify for the Valiant Tier.
Nancy is a current Victors Club member but not a current basketball season ticket-holder. She is interested in four seats in the Club Section. She makes her non-refundable $200 Preferred Seat Donation deposit ($50 per seat). Her Priority Point total, however, in comparison to others requesting the same tier, does not qualify her for Club Seats this year. She is offered four seats in the Victors Tier instead. She fulfills the rest of the PSD for the Victors Tier (half off in the first year) and can select her seats at her appointment time in the summer. She will then pay for her season tickets in September.
Wayne is a current basketball season ticket-holder of 10 years and has never before donated to Michigan Athletics. He is not interested in sitting in a Preferred Seat Donation section, but would like to renew his basketball season tickets. Wayne sends his interest form in by March 15 and can select his seats at his appointment time this summer in a non-PSD tier. He will then pay for his season tickets in September.
Jill is not a season ticket-holder and has donated to the University of Michigan, but never specifically to Athletics. Jill is interested in two seats in the Blue Tier ($100 per seat), so she sends in her $100 Preferred Seat Donation deposit ($50 per seat) and becomes a member of the Victors Club. Jill’s priority point total includes her lifetime University giving and her recent PSD deposit, which in comparison to others requesting the same tier, is high enough to be offered seats in the Blue Tier. Jill has fulfilled her first year’s worth of her Preferred Seat Donation because PSDs are half off in the first year. She selects her seats at her appointment time over the summer and then pays for her season tickets in September.
Al is a current Victors Club member and a current basketball season ticket-holder. He is interested in sitting in two similar seats to what he currently has, which are in the Club Section. He makes his non-refundable $100 Preferred Seat Donation deposit ($50 per seat). Al is offered two seats in the Club Section because his point total is high enough in comparison to others requesting the same tier. He then fulfills the rest of the PSD for the Club Section (half off in the first year) and can select his seats at his appointment time in the summer. He will then pay for his season tickets in September.
