When the first Audi TT launched back in 1999,an icon was born. Unique, distinctive, unmistakablyAudi. Not an easy achievement to follow – butVorsprung durch Technik demands that we neverstand still, never stop innovating, never cease toevolve. So we created the new Audi TT. Everythingthat was great about its predecessor made greater.

Two different body styles are available – Coupé andRoadster. Both of which are offered with quattro®

and the innovative S tronic automatic transmissiontechnology, described in more detail on page 10. In addition to a 3-spoke flat-bottom leather steeringwheel and aluminium interior detailing, all new TTmodels feature front Sports seats, climate control and an aerodynamic rear spoiler which automaticallyextends as soon as the car reaches 74 mph*. And the driving experience is equally sporty. The 3.2 quattro model is capable of reaching anelectrifying top speed of 155mph**, producing 250PSand accelerating from 0-62mph in just 5.7 seconds.That’s the kind of power that will press your tinglingspine back into its Fine Nappa leather Sports seat.

A car that delivers as much pulling power as the Audi TT needs a harness in place – a technologythat delivers safety and control whilst enhancing the sporty characteristics which make it so thrillingto drive. That’s why the latest generation of quattro® four-wheel-drive is available on 3.2 TT models.The principle is simple: in the same way that four brakes ensure better deceleration, four wheelsdeliver better acceleration and road-holding. On quattro® models, drive power is continuouslydistributed between the front and rear axles depending on weather conditions, road surface andgradient. And what better technology to feature on this sporty model than the one that has givenAudi the edge on the racetrack ever since it was first introduced over 25 years ago.

Engines

Transmissions

There are two kinds available on this model – the standardpetrol engine and the FSI® direct-injection engine. FSI® is aunique Audi technology originally developed for the Le Mans24-hour endurance race to deliver increased power andtorque as well as enhanced fuel efficiency. The way it doesthis is, in theory, very simple. Fuel is injected directly into thecombustion chambers, ‘unthrottling’ the engine, reducingheat-loss and increasing output – all whilst reducing fuelconsumption and exhaust emissions. Ideal for the buyer whowants a sporty, exhilarating drive without the drawbacks ofexcessive fuel costs or high emissions-based taxation.

S tronic

The revolutionary S tronic gearbox combines the agilityand responsiveness of a conventional 6-speed manualgearbox with the convenience and smooth, uninterruptedpower of an automatic transmission. The technical basisof the S tronic gearbox is the double clutch. This consistsof two lubricated plates with hydraulically-regulated contactpressure. One engages the odd-numbered, the other theeven-numbered gears, enabling gear-shifts to be made ina fraction of a second, with no disruption to the power flow.Depending on how the mood takes you, you can either allowgear-changes to take place automatically or, for a sportierdriving style, operate the S tronic system using the gearlever or steering wheel shift-paddles. The choice is yours.

For fast, crisp gear changes in a sporty, manual set-up, you can choose to specify your new Audi TT with short-shiftmanual transmission. This simple yet effective gear-changepattern means that the gearstick has a shorter distance totravel between each shift-gate, minimising the effort youhave to make with each up or down-shift, whilst maximisingyour driving enjoyment.

ServicingCO2 data and information

Servicing tailored to your needs

Prior to the 2000 model year, almost all Audi models followed atraditional fixed Service Schedule similar to that of other major carmanufacturers: a Lubrication Service every 10,000 miles and anInspection Service every 12 months or 20,000 miles – whicheveroccurred sooner. Since then, Audi has introduced a more flexiblemaintenance system that works in accordance with how, where andhow much an individual uses their car.

The two Servicing Regimes available are the conventional ‘InspectionService Regime’ and the flexible ‘LongLife Service Regime’. When youpurchase a new car, we will recommend one of these regimes to youdepending on your own individual driving style and journey-type. Thetables below should give you an indication of which regime might bemore appropriate for you.

With the LongLife Service Regime, on-board sensors continuouslymonitor the condition of the engine oil in terms of temperature, leveland oil degradation. The monitoring system also checks mileage,brake-pad wear and battery condition. Using this information, the car’s on-board computer calculates its own maintenance interval,

providing you with ample warning of a due Service via the ‘distance toService’ display.

In practice, this means that every Audi gets the maintenance it needs,when it needs it. For companies and private owners alike, there aremany advantages to the LongLife Service Regime. Longer serviceintervals mean lower maintenance costs, and thus lower whole-lifecosts. According to company car mileage monitored at Audi since theintroduction of LongLife, petrol engines are typically achieving anaverage of at least 17,500 miles and diesel engines around 20,000miles between services.

One of the factors that makes this kind of servicing regime possible isthe advanced engineering and technology that goes into Audi engines.Furthermore, Audi use high-grade long-life oils such as Castrol SLXLongLife III, which are designed to withstand ageing and high loadswithout deterioration. Compared to conventional oils, these advanced-formulation oils also give exceptional levels of engine protection, arekinder to the environment and deliver average fuel savings of 2.7%.

CO2 emissions-based Vehicle Excise Duty

Vehicle Excise Duty (Road Fund Licence) is based upon the type of fuel avehicle uses and the amount of Carbon Dioxide (CO2) it emits, measuredin grams per kilometre (g/km). The DVLA has created six categories forpetrol and diesel engines.

The CO2 emission figures quoted in the technical data section on page11 are based on a fully laden vehicle, including the driver, and theheaviest possible options configuration. Actual CO2 emissions maybe lower depending on options selected.

Test drives

Whilst we cannot always have the desireddemonstrator car ready immediately, we willconfirm arrangements for a test drive within two working days (subject to status).

New Car delivery

Once we have confirmed a delivery date with you,we will keep you informed of progress. In theunlikely event of a delay, we will provide you witha courtesy car to minimise inconvenience andkeep you mobile.

Delivery to any location within the UK

To maximise your Audi experience right from thefirst day of ownership, we will deliver your car toyour preferred location – whether that’s home oryour place of work (subject to reasonable notice).

Courtesy cars

When your car is off the road, perhaps due to a scheduled service or MOT, we will offer you anAudi Courtesy Vehicle until yours is ready. We’ll evencollect from and deliver to your chosen location,keeping hassle to an absolute minimum.

All our courtesy cars are insured and fuelled

Upon collection or delivery, your courtesy car willhave a minimum of a quarter of a tank of fuel; allwe ask is that you replace any fuel used beforereturning it to us. On presentation of your drivinglicence, we will also insure the car free of charge.

Service bookings

If you do not require a courtesy car, we will serviceyour Audi within a maximum of 5 working days. If you do choose to take a courtesy car, we willpromise to service your vehicle within a maximumof 10 working days.

Cleaning

When your car comes to our workshop, we willwash and vacuum it at no extra cost.

No hidden charges

You will be consulted before we carry out anynecessary work on your vehicle, and anythingcharged for will be itemised on your bill. No extrawork will be undertaken without your permission.

A personal service

All work will be done by a named Audi technician,to whom you can personally direct questions orrequests should you need to.

Environmental commitment

We promise to dispose of all non-biodegradablematerials from your vehicle in a responsible manner.
