Installation - Prerequisites

• Make sure you have a functioning Sage SalesLogix 7.5.3 web environment

• Install HF 01 & Close App Architect• Install HF 02 & Close App Architect• Install HF 03 & Close App Architect• Sage SalesLogix Mobile and the SData portal must be

on the same server• Rebuild the Web Platform in App Architect

Installation – SlxMobile web site

• Application Architect− In the Project Explorer - Install Sage SalesLogix Mobile bundle− In the Application Architect, open the Deployment Explorer

o Open the Core Portals deployment.o Under Deployment Targets, right-click IIS and select Add

Portal(s).o Select SLXMobile, and then click OK.o Deploy all of the Core Portals or Individually deploy both the SData

and SLXMobile portals.

• Run SData Mobile Client by browsing to https://<servername>/SlxMobile

Installation - Troubleshooting

• If you get server error, and/or you cannot log into the main web client because it “cannot establish a connection with SLXServer”, stop and restart the Sage SalesLogix services or reboot the server

• If you try to run the main web client (SLXClient) and get a JsonProperty error, you need to remove Sage.Common.Syndication.Json.dll from the Bin folder in the SlxClient and sdata portals
