The New Mexico Border Authority SANTA TERESA INTERNATIONAL RAIL STUDY The New Mexico Border Authority (NMBA) in coordination with the State of Chihuahua, is conducting a study to evaluate potential alternatives for a new international rail crossing in the Santa Teresa area, with potential rail line extensions connecting to existing facilities. Recommendations on the preferred alternative(s) will be presented at the meeting. The purpose and need of the Study is based on rail capacity issues, safety within the rail corridor, and economic development. Both meetings will be the same and held in an Open House format with Project Team members available to answer questions and accept input. If you are unable to attend, comments can be mailed, faxed, or emailed to [email protected], phone: (505) 923-3322, fax: (505) 798-7988, 7500 Jefferson St NE, Albuquerque, NM 87109. Special needs or accommodations for individuals with disabilities will be provided upon request if received at least 48 hours in advance of the meeting by calling (505) 798-7843.
