• Honoured for it to be used and adapted as a base for the East
Midlands Network Pathway

Closer and more structured planning between Obstetric and neonatal services
There is not always time in neonatal care for planning but following a pathway aids earlier conversations with parents and other professionals.

Prompt for professionals to ensure the families are aware of all the options
Families are ensured that every part of their baby’s care has been considered, discussed and explanations are available for why things have been done and why others have not been available
