environmental quality that is conducive to their well-being and supporting of a nation’s economic
development and unified in its pursuit of peace, social justice and equity in the use of natural resources.

Environmental Education (EE) is already included in the
curriculum for elementary.
DepEd inculcates in the students the virtues of being
Makatao, MakaDiyos, Makabayan and Makakalikasan.

EE is not separate from school lessons, it is integrated.
Ex. Science and Health (soil water air pollution, disposal of waste materials;
coral reefs; components of ecosystem), Sibika at Kultura, Hekasi, Edukasyong
Pagpapakatao, and Edukasyong Pantahanan at Pangkabuhayan.
