Cut Your Store Down One Half

Tens of thousands of farmers as well as the i town and city folks cut down their store

bills one-half last year and saved money in spite of generally short crops and reduced wages.

Absolutely millions of dollars were saved and countless families lived better than ever before in the face of the cotton crisis and general business depression.

How were these burdensome store bills cut down? By the real money-saving power of good home gardens, rightly planted and kept planted and tended through the season.

Hastings 1916 Seed Catalogue tells how to cut store bills down; tells about gar-

— and I'll Be Laid Up Several Weeks Longer

WHY, a brick fell from the third floor of a new building and

connected with my head. In a hospital for a long time with a cracked skull, fever, delirious, and heaven knows what all.

But every month, regular as clockwork, along came a check for $200 from the /ETNA. You see, my /ETNA ACCIDENT POLICY calls for $50 weekly while totally disabled, $25 a week while partly out of commission, and also surgeon’s fees or hospital bills. Makes it hard for me, eh ? Man, I’m an optimist of the purest ray serene.

What did the policy cost ? If I told you how little, you’d say I’m still raving. Come up tonight and I’ll tell you. So long !
