The myth of Narcissus

The queen sent echo to search for her

husband because she thought he went with

other women.Echo didn’t come

back quickly, because she saw Narcissus,

fell in love with him, and she forgot what the queen told her.

IN THE GARDEN ON OLYMPUS, ECHO WENT TO SEE NARCISSUS.

The queen got mad with Echo because

she didn’t come back quickly and

because she lied to her. She punished

Echo so she will not sing forever .!

Narcissus met Echo in the forest, he got lost, he asked Echo how can he get out from the forest but

Echo just repeted him. He got mad and

said ,I tried to find someone who can

help me.

oh , fair goddess ,hear me now.i have no voice but I know you can hear me.

My love is disappeared and I must disappear too.please make me

disappear .for I cannot bear the pain.

Artemis heard Echo’s prayer and made her disappear. Even today, from time to time, you can hear Echo in caves, mountains and forests.
