It’s been said that it’s as natural for Christians to pray as it is for a living being to breathe. Prayer is our life line to a living God. Our heavenly Father promises to hear our prayers. Please join us in the

Chapel after service each week for a short prayer session. You may submit requests for prayer prior to the service by contacting Phillip or Debbie Trokey or there will be a jar outside of the Chapel where you can leave your prayer request at any time.

Faith Foundations 2019-2020 Faith Foundations Bible Study for women will resume on Monday, September 9, 2019, at Trinity Lutheran Church

in Springfield, MO. (Trinity Family Center building)

We have chosen the latest Donna Pyle study, “Perseverance: Praying Through Life’s Challenges.” This

series teaches us how God gives us the strength to perse-vere past seemingly insurmountable obstacles using the

Book of Nehemiah. Cost of workbooks will be $10.

Come join us on Monday mornings, 9:15 a.m.-11:00 a.m. Babysitting is provided.

For further information, please contact Linda Young (417-818-5289),

Carmen Dorman (417839-3634), Marilyn Haldiman (417-830-6144), or

Leslie King (417-818-0338). We look forward to beginning our new class!

On behalf of Dennis Knaust, we sincerely thank the members of Trinity Lutheran for your prayers and get well cards following his

stroke on July 15. After 3 weeks at the Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital, he transferred last week to Lacoba Homes skilled nursing facility in Monett for continued therapy. Although he has made some progress, your continued prayers for further healing would be greatly appreciated. In God’s Peace, Sharon Harris, Ron & Lisa Knaust and Don & Patty Knaust
