We welcome all who are visiting our Corpus Christi Faith Community for the first time or are frequent visitors. We are hon-ored by your presence. If we can be of service to you, please do not hesitate to call on us. If you would like to become a member of our Parish, please com-plete one of the Registration forms located in the Parish Office, at the Community Center Bulletin Board, or on our website at www.cccctucson.org

Please remember to let the Parish Office know when you are on campus during business hours. Thank you.

The last lines of A Christmas Carol - “He became as good a friend, as good a master, and as good a man, as the good old city knew, or any other good old city, town, or borough, in the good old world. And it was always said of him, that he knew how to keep Christmas well, if any man alive possessed the knowledge. May that be truly said of us, and all of us! And so, as Tiny Tim observed, God bless Us, Every One!” From the entire staff at Corpus Christi,

Have a Blessed and Merry Christmas!

Fr. Chris

Your Purchase Supports Our Parish

One of the easiest ways to give back to Corpus Christi is our Scrip (Gift Card) program. Simply purchase gift cards from Corpus Christi after Mass at the Scrip Table in the Community Center, or during the week in the Parish Office. Our church receives a per-centage directly from the store. There is no extra charge-just pay by cash, check, or credit card for the face value of the card. It’s that easy! Gift cards can be used for everyday items like food, gasoline, restaurants, clothes, and much more. They also make great gifts for birthdays, holidays, or for any occasion.

Parish Library

The Parish Library is located in the Parish Office and offers an extensive collection of literature and audio-visual materials to our Corpus Christi Community. New books and materials are processed each month. Locating a book is made easy with the use of a 3-ring binder where each book is listed by title, author, and category. Each item contains a library card to fill out and a “Return Book” shelf. (Please return the materials so they may be available to others)

Just a Reminder=

The Outreach Ministry collects any or all of the following items: used glasses and hearing aids, toiletries, gently used baby, chil-dren’s, men’s, and women’s clothing and shoes. Household items in good condition are also appreciated. Any Outreach charity may be designated as the recipient. Please leave items on the Outreach table in the Community Center. Contact Outreach for more infor-mation. Thank you.

To submit an article for the bulletin, send it via email to [email protected] or drop it by the Parish Office.

Submissions must be received by 12 pm Monday.

To submit an announcement to be read at weekend Mass, send it via email to [email protected]

or drop it by the Parish Office

Reminder for Parents

We would like to remind parents to please accompany their children to the restrooms. We are a growing parish and would like to continue to be a safe parish. Thank you.

Father Richard’s Gospel of John Class. Please read and meditate on the.6th Chapter. Also, answer two questions: Why Jesus is unwilling to be acclaimed "king." Why did the rulers oppose him? All are wel-comed as we meet on the 7th of January at 9am in the chapel.

There will be no Centering Prayer on Tuesday, December 27. Tuesday Centering Prayer will resume its regular schedule on January 3. Wednesday Centering Prayer will remain uninter-rupted.

Yoga Classes at Corpus Christi! Please join us for Yoga with Jo Hartman at Corpus Christi. We have classes on Mondays and Wednesdays at 9:00am. Gentle Vinyasa Yoga, appropriate for all from beginners to accomplished yogis. $5.00.

Milestones

Do you have a “milestone date” coming up (birthday, anniversary, etc.)? Would you like your friends and fellow parishioners at Corpus Christi to celebrate the event with you? Please either call the parish office (520-751-4235) or email the bulletin at [email protected] and let us know about your upcoming milestone event at least 10 days be-fore you would like it announced.

Did you know? • That there is a one-mile hiking/nature trail around the Corpus

Christi property? • That we have bike racks at the turn-around in the south parking

lot? • That there is a Parish Lending Library in the hallway near the

office? • That there are small green donation envelopes for children and

teens who want to share their treasure? (On ushers’ table at the back of the church)

We have added a new “tab” on the homepage of our parish website (www.cccctucson.org)...Funeral Announcements. We hope this will help get funeral service arrangements and other pertinent infor-mation out to our community about members of our parish who have passed into eternal life. This infor-mation is also available on our Prayer Chain.

Our Facebook page has been revitalized! Please “like” us on Facebook at “Corpus Christi Parish” and be part of increasing our faith community presence!
