Children's Easter Party The annual Easter Event for kids will be March 24th from 1-3 pm. There will be crafts, coloring eggs, an egg hunt and of course food to eat! Sign up on The Connect Card to volunteer and for donations.
Retirement Party for Berneita Norris Berneita has been the head of kitchen staff at Birchwood Camp for many years and is starting a new chapter of her life with her family in the Lower 48. A party to celebrate her service will be at Round Table Pizza in the Dimond Mall on Monday, March 19th from 5:30 - 7:30 PM and we'd love to have everyone there to send Berneita off! Potlatch after Worship today. We will be making baby shower gifts for students at Crossroads.
Grant Carey will be collecting for Special Olympics today. The Anchorage Area is all volunteer and has a budget of only $50,000 and serves over 300 athletes in 14 sports year around. The budget is used to rent venues, mostly from the School District.
Coed Softball Team Anchor Park has an adult coed softball team that plays on Monday nights May-August. Harry Ricker is the coach of the team. At this time he is looking for players to fill the roster. The team fee this year will be $65-70 plus the cost of a shirt. Sign up at the Volunteer Table if you are interested.
