Are you an adult with few or no qualifications looking to change direction? Newbattle Abbey College has several options to choose from:

Arts and Humanities Course – Full Time Residential and Open LearningThis I year course includes History, Politics, Sociology, Ecology, Psychology, Literature and Core Skills. You can study as a full-time residential student starting in September of this year. The course includes full board and accommodation. For those who are eligible, there are no tuition fees and there is a bursary, which is means tested. You can also enrol on our two year Open Learning course, studying in class, on line and from home.

Short Course ProgrammeFrom September 2010, our short course programme will include:

Guided ToursJoin us on a trip into the past with nine centuries of history. Set in tranquil 125 acre site, featuring ancient woodlands and an Italian Garden. Group bookings, including lunch, are available all year round. Newbattle is open every Sunday from 20 June – 15 August, with tours at 1.30pm and 3.30pm.

Battlefield Band’s Tryst at Newbattle Abbey College – 17-19 September, 2010Newbattle is delighted to welcome Battlefield Band and guests for a weekend of superb traditional music, workshops and informal sessions, led by the internationally acclaimed Battlefield Band.
