My Experience with Early Voting Was Very Positive by Nancy Idaka Sheran MHNA Newsletter Editor On October 28 I took advantage of early voting at PS116 Entrance to the polling place was on 32nd Streetthrough the playground That entrance is accessible with an elevator on the left and stairs to the right of theplayground There were no lines and I was able to sign in and get my ballot at a new terminal equipped witha tablet The terminals were used to look up voters registrations and sign them in Each terminal had pollingstaff helping with the sign-in process There were several of these terminals The registration look-up processwas automated I had my voter registration card and polling staff put it on the terminal scanned the barcodeand the system brought up my registration Polling staff turned the tablet around for me to sign on the tabletwith a stylus After that it was like regular voting A ballot was produced they had privacy booths wherevoters could mark their ballots and then the ballots were scanned I asked what would happen if I tried tovote again and I was told that the system would have a record that I had already voted

My Experience with Early Voting Was Very Positive by Nancy Idaka Sheran MHNA Newsletter Editor On October 28 I took advantage of early voting at PS116 Entrance to the polling place was on 32nd Streetthrough the playground That entrance is accessible with an elevator on the left and stairs to the right of theplayground There were no lines and I was able to sign in and get my ballot at a new terminal equipped witha tablet The terminals were used to look up voters registrations and sign them in Each terminal had pollingstaff helping with the sign-in process There were several of these terminals The registration look-up processwas automated I had my voter registration card and polling staff put it on the terminal scanned the barcodeand the system brought up my registration Polling staff turned the tablet around for me to sign on the tabletwith a stylus After that it was like regular voting A ballot was produced they had privacy booths wherevoters could mark their ballots and then the ballots were scanned I asked what would happen if I tried tovote again and I was told that the system would have a record that I had already voted

My Experience with Early Voting Was Very Positive by Nancy Idaka Sheran MHNA Newsletter Editor On October 28 I took advantage of early voting at PS116 Entrance to the polling place was on 32nd Streetthrough the playground That entrance is accessible with an elevator on the left and stairs to the right of theplayground There were no lines and I was able to sign in and get my ballot at a new terminal equipped witha tablet The terminals were used to look up voters registrations and sign them in Each terminal had pollingstaff helping with the sign-in process There were several of these terminals The registration look-up processwas automated I had my voter registration card and polling staff put it on the terminal scanned the barcodeand the system brought up my registration Polling staff turned the tablet around for me to sign on the tabletwith a stylus After that it was like regular voting A ballot was produced they had privacy booths wherevoters could mark their ballots and then the ballots were scanned I asked what would happen if I tried tovote again and I was told that the system would have a record that I had already voted

My Experience with Early Voting Was Very Positive by Nancy Idaka Sheran MHNA Newsletter Editor On October 28 I took advantage of early voting at PS116 Entrance to the polling place was on 32nd Streetthrough the playground That entrance is accessible with an elevator on the left and stairs to the right of theplayground There were no lines and I was able to sign in and get my ballot at a new terminal equipped witha tablet The terminals were used to look up voters registrations and sign them in Each terminal had pollingstaff helping with the sign-in process There were several of these terminals The registration look-up processwas automated I had my voter registration card and polling staff put it on the terminal scanned the barcodeand the system brought up my registration Polling staff turned the tablet around for me to sign on the tabletwith a stylus After that it was like regular voting A ballot was produced they had privacy booths wherevoters could mark their ballots and then the ballots were scanned I asked what would happen if I tried tovote again and I was told that the system would have a record that I had already voted

My Experience with Early Voting Was Very Positive by Nancy Idaka Sheran MHNA Newsletter Editor On October 28 I took advantage of early voting at PS116 Entrance to the polling place was on 32nd Streetthrough the playground That entrance is accessible with an elevator on the left and stairs to the right of theplayground There were no lines and I was able to sign in and get my ballot at a new terminal equipped witha tablet The terminals were used to look up voters registrations and sign them in Each terminal had pollingstaff helping with the sign-in process There were several of these terminals The registration look-up processwas automated I had my voter registration card and polling staff put it on the terminal scanned the barcodeand the system brought up my registration Polling staff turned the tablet around for me to sign on the tabletwith a stylus After that it was like regular voting A ballot was produced they had privacy booths wherevoters could mark their ballots and then the ballots were scanned I asked what would happen if I tried tovote again and I was told that the system would have a record that I had already voted
