With the oil of joy above Your

    companions.

  • Luke 24: 44-45

words which I spoke to you while I was

still with you, that all the things

that are written about Me in the Law

of Moses and the Prophets and the

    Psalms must be fulfilled.”

45Then He opened their minds to

    Isaiah 53: 4-5

4However, it was our sicknesses that He

    Himself bore, And our pains that He carried;

Yet we ourselves assumed that He had been

afflicted, Struck down by God, and

    humiliated. 5

But He was pierced for our

offenses, He was crushed for our

wrongdoings; The punishment for our well-

being was laid upon Him, And by His wounds

    we are healed.

  • Psalm 22

    Isaiah 53: 10-11

10But the LORD desired To crush

Him, causing Him grief; If He renders

Himself as a guilt offering, He will

see His offspring, He will prolong His days,

And the good pleasure of the LORD will

    prosper in His hand. 11

    As a result of

the anguish of His soul, He will see it and be

satisfied; By His knowledge the Righteous

One, My Servant, will justify the many, For

    He will bear their wrongdoings

  • Psalm 22

    Galatians 3:13

  • Psalm 118

    Psalm 118:14

The LORD is my strength and song,

And He has become my salvation.

  • Psalm 118

    The cornerstone

    John 1:11-12

11He came to His own, and His own

    people did not accept Him.

12But as many as received Him, to them

He gave the right to become children

of God, to those who believe in His

    name,

  • Psalm 118

    The cornerstone

    Acts 4:11-12

11He is the STONE WHICH WAS REJECTED by

you, THE BUILDERS, but WHICH BECAME THE

    CHIEF CORNERSTONE.

12And there is salvation in no one else; for

there is no other name under heaven that

has been given among mankind by which we

    must be saved.”

  • Psalm 118

    The cornerstone

    I Peter 2:4-8

4And coming to Him as to a living stone which has been rejected

by people, but is choice and precious in the sight of God,5

    you

also, as living stones, are being built up as a spiritual house for

a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices that are

acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.6

    For this is contained

    in Scripture:

“BEHOLD, I AM LAYING IN ZION A CHOICE STONE, A PRECIOUS CORNERSTONE,

AND THE ONE WHO BELIEVES IN HIM WILL NOT BE PUT TO SHAME.”

7This precious value, then, is for you who believe; but for

unbelievers, “A STONE WHICH THE BUILDERS REJECTED, THIS BECAME

    THE CHIEF CORNERSTONE,”

8and, “A STONE OF STUMBLING AND A ROCK OF OFFENSE”; for they

stumble because they are disobedient to the word, and to this

    they were also appointed.

  • Psalm 118

    The cornerstone

    Zechariah 10:4

    From them will come

    The cornerstone,

    From them the tent peg,

From them the bow of battle,

From them every tyrant, all of

    them together.

  • Psalm 118

    The cornerstone

    Isaiah 28:16

Therefore this is what the Lord GOD says:

“Behold, I am laying a stone in Zion, a

    tested stone, A precious Cornerstone

for the foundation, firmly placed. The one

who believes in it will not be disturbed.

  • Psalm 118

    Jesus Enters Jerusalem

  • Psalm 118

    Jesus laments over Jerusalem

  • Psalm 118

    Hosea 11:4

I pulled them along with cords of

a man, with ropes of love, And I

became to them as one who lifts

the yoke from their jaws; And I

    bent down and fed them.

  • Psalm 118

    Matthew 11:28-30

“Come to Me, all who are weary and

burdened, and I will give you

    rest.29

    Take My yoke upon you

and learn from Me, for I am gentle

and humble in heart, and YOU WILL

    FIND REST FOR YOUR SOULS.30

    For My yoke

is comfortable, and My burden is

    light.”

  • Psalm 118

    Psalm 118: 28-29

    28You are my God, and I give thanks to You;

You are my God, I exalt You.

    29Give thanks to the LORD, for He is good;

    For His mercy is everlasting.
