The Matrix is a  science fiction film written and directed  from the  Wachowski Brothers .It was released in 1999.

Reviewers praised The Movie for its innovative visual effects, cinematography and its entertainment .Also it contains numerous references to philosophical and religious ideas.

The Film follows the story of Thomas Anderson ,an ordinary man who works in a formal advertising company .One day he  receives a weird phone call in his office.When he answers it ,a mysterious voice tells him that the “agents”are coming from him.

The Agents  captured him and told  him thatthey discovered his  secret computer hacker identity ,   Neo.Later he meets Morpheus,a mystical man.That man offers neo the  real truth.

Neo learns  that  the world we live in , it’s a simulation on a computer , the    Matrix  created by intelligent  machines who enslaved the entire human race after a war and the human beings  are no longer born…  the are grown ..The machines use this way the humans because a human’s body heat and electrical activity is very helpful as an energy source..

Neo  chose to discover the truth.. But the truth is not what he  expected to find..

After Morpheus’s revelation ,Neo joined his free from the machines  crew and he met an attractive woman ,Trinity.The crew lives in an spaceship in an earth corrupted by the war . Neo  began his training in the martial arts , such as jiu jitsu, taekwondo ,etcAfter he finished , he escorted the crew to a mission in the Matrix .But  the missions was a trap. Agents captured Morpheus ,so Neo and Trinity decided to rescue him.

After a long battle , they saved him and killed all the cops and agents who were prevented them..Just before their escape,  the leader appeared , Agent Smith. Neo fights him ,beat him and he found  a new way out  from the matrix ,Unfortunately  the other agents discovered him , shot him and killed him

However ,Neo returned to life and stopped with his power  the new  attacks  from the agents.Neo was revealed that he was the “One” ,a savoir who will free the human race from the machines…

The success of the film led to the release of two feature film sequels in 2003, both written and directed by the Wachowski Brothers, The Matrix Reloaded and the Matrix Revolutions
