Ministry Matters Monday Night Prayer Join us at our weekly prayer meeting tomorrow evening from 6:30-7:30pm. You are all encouraged to come and be a part of this vital ministry. Hurricane Relief Your donations to the relief ef- fort can be dropped off at CBC weekdays between 9:00am & 4:30pm. Come to the main office entrance and one of our staff will assist with securing your dona- tions in the designated room. If you brought donations today please check with one of our leaders for directions. Precept Study Group The next study will be on Wednesday, October 16th. Precept classes are held every 1st & 3rd Wednesday at 6:30pm and are led by Pastor Randy Pearce. Call the church office if you would like to participate in this study. CrossTrainers Notes • CrossTrainers is “back with a bang” after a long summer break. We would love to have your 5-18 year olds with us each Tuesday from 6:00-8:00pm! • For those who have signed up to provide sandwiches, please deliver them to the kitchen by 5:50pm each Tuesday night be- cause the fun begins at 6:00pm. • If you are looking for a place to serve in ministry, why not come and observe our Cross- Trainers program. We need leaders! Church Family Photo! The new congregational photo shoot will be rescheduled for a date to be announced soon. Baptism We are accepting candidates for the upcoming baptism service at Montagu Beach. If you have not yet been bap- tised, and would like to be, please contact the church office to Ignition will continue this Friday, Oct. 11th @ 7:00pm. Men’s Fraternity The Men’s Fraternity will be available again this season. The groundwork is still being laid. Details will be coming later. Combined Services Two combined services are be- ing planned during the month of October. Oct. 20th will be a Youth Service and Oct. 27th a CCC Recognition Service. These services will begin at 10:30am. On those dates Sunday School will begin at 9:30 and end at 10:15am. Young Adults This Saturday October 12 there will be a game night to Nicholas and Tamsin’s house. Please let them know if you will be able to attend by Wednesday of this week. Operation InAsMuch The 46 bags given over the past week brings the total to 90,306. We are continually grateful to everyone for your support. Family Notes! And we are not owed anything more for doing our duties. This sermon will encourage us to diligence with the right heart attitude, especially in the routine duties of our Christian lives.
