about this guide Most of us here at AC come from all over the world and obviously flying back and forth wrecks havoc on the environment. Of course, flying home for long breaks is inevitable but perhaps flights back home for shorter breaks can be avoided.

You may ask ‘if I can’t go home, what can I do?’. Never fear, SusCo is here! In this guide we have some travel destinations within the UK that you might want to check out during October or Easter break. All of these destinations have been tried, tested and approved by your eco-reps so rest assured!

Instead of booking your flight back home next time we get a week off, take a look through this guide to get an idea of what the UK has to offer in terms of sightseeing and travel. It’s not all rain and sheep out there!

gower campsite, wales A couple of hours away from AC is the beautiful Gower Campsite. This region has some of the UK’s best locations for walking, cycling, watersports and golf. Swansea is close by if you get sick of the unspoilt countryside and gorgeous beaches.
