Student exchange is for me to spend time away from myhome country and experience life different from mine.

I joined the institutional-level exchange programme in Sem A of 2002 at Lancaster University (UK). I must say that this exchange is such a precious opportunity for me to learn more about Linguistics, the British culture and even myself!

Living in a completely English-speaking environment, writing my first academic essay, talking with people in Englishall the time, seeing loads of sheeps and rabbits, making many

The next person who gains a lot in the exchange programmemay be…YOU!!! Grasp your opportunity!

Finally, I want to express my gratitude to Dr.Webster,Rachel, Richard, Candy, all of my teachers in CityU andLancaster, my family, my exchange mates, Sue, Carmen,Eleanor, Franco and Venny. Thank you for giving me all thesupport on my way!
