birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. To mark the occasion, the

Department of Sports and Youth Affairs, in association with the Department of

Education and other Departments of the Andaman & Nicobar Administration,

organized a 'Run for Unity' today. The Secretary (Sports/Education), Smti. Tanvi

Garg, who was the chief guest on the occasion, flagged off the 'Run for Unity' from

the Netaji Stadium this morning. She also administered the National Unity Pledge

to the participants. About 500 students from various schools of the headquarter

area; trainees of SAI, ANSA and students of JNRM participated in the Run.
