The Final Edition Evolution receives an increase in engine power and torque through lowering temperature via the application of sodium valves and cylinder head heat-treatment. Cast from light weight aluminium, the state of the art turbocharged MIVEC engine hurls you toward the horizon in the blink of an eye every time you bury the pedal.

Power increased from 217kW to 226kW Torque increased 366Nm to 414Nm

The MIVEC system utilises a direct-acting valve-train for additional weight reduction and optimal power, and also operates on both the intake and exhaust valves for optimum engine efficiency. Final Edition Evolution is available only in a 5-speed manual with clutch control interlock.

The engine performance curve has also been improved across the middle to high rpm and torque ranges to deliver better dynamic performance for quicker standing starts and overtaking.

BREMBO BRAKESWith over 30 years of racing competition experience, BREMBO is the only brand worthy to feature on the Final Edition Evolution. To reign in the power of the Final Edition Evolution, braking is boosted with 350mm ventilated 2 piece constructed rotors with 4-piston calipers at the front, while the rear houses 330mm rotors with opposed 2-piston calipers. The BREMBO brakes reduce weight whilst combining a significant increase in performance, allowing heat from the ventilated rotors to be dispersed quickly to reduce braking fade.

BILSTEIN SHOCK ABSORBERS AND EIBACH SPRINGSUnbelievable control and stability. Precise handling. Ultimate performance and incredible comfort. 18” BBS WHEELS WITH GOLD CENTRE WHEEL ORNAMENT The Final Edition Evolution comes customised with 18” BBS satin platinum forged alloy wheels with a gold centre ornament, wrapped in road hugging 245/40 rubber. The lightweight construction of the wheels results in a reduction of ‘un-sprung’ weight, improving handling and making the car more stable.

OWN THE ROAD. SUPER ALL WHEEL CONTROL SYSTEM

Thanks to the sophisticated Super All Wheel Control System (S-AWC), the Final Edition Evolution allows you to drive in ways you didn’t think were physically possible. The S-AWC system is made up of 4 independent systems working together and operated via the vehicle’s ECU to give you handling that defies belief. The Active Centre Differential (ACD) determines the optimal torque split between the front and rear axles. It then distributes this through the hydraulic multi-plate clutch. ACD works in three modes – tarmac, gravel and snow – to enable quicker control response for changes in road surfaces.

To maintain stability and control when cornering, Active Stability Control (ASC) automatically recognises under steer and over steer and applies braking to the appropriate wheels to keep you on a straight line and in control. The Super Active Yaw Control gathers information on lateral and longitudinal acceleration, steering angle and wheel speed. It then distributes torque between the rear wheels accordingly. To give you complete confidence in all situations, the Final Edition Evolution also features Mitsubishi’s Sports ABS with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution that regulates the braking force to match vehicle load and driving conditions.
