The Kane Legacy

Page 2: The Kane Legacy

This is the story of the 5-generation legacy I started in a custom hood called Isla. The story was that each generation they moved to a new house, but all that's there is just the line of houses down "main street". My founder was named Tepid Kane. I didn't know what Tepid meant until after I named him that, but oh well. It kind of fit. He married Christy Stratton. This is the only picture of him.

Page 3: The Kane Legacy

They moved to the pre-made farm house. He had two daughters, Denai and Ria.

Page 4: The Kane Legacy

Ria was born when he was already an elder, so she was still a teen when they died.

When Denai was a teen she made best friends with Mr. Big, because I wanted enough money to move into the next house, much bigger. As soon as she grew up, she proposed to him. They didn't even have their first kiss until after they were engaged XD. They then moved into the next house.

Tepid and Christy passed away, and Denai and Mr. Big brought in the next generation in the form of Jack, Elle, and Dennis. Jack was the oldest and fairly boring.

When Elle was a child I was just getting into custom content, and I downloaded the notebook for writing novels in. This was also when I first learned about clutter. I was so excited when I saw they could put the book ON TOP of the notebook!

Page 9: The Kane Legacy

She wrote several novels before turning teen. (I should probably point out that I used maxmotivesliberally.) After becoming teen, my game started to bore me, so I used my first plot device. She, although I pictured her as an introverted child, became romance, so I made this whole plot line about her completely changing and becoming a popular person. She had a few boyfriends (and I found out about date gifts for the first time) before switching back to being a knowledge sim and writing novels again.

Lastly there was Dennis, who was also fairly boring, but I decided he would be heir.

Page 11: The Kane Legacy

I also had my first bad experience with a hot tub (it was on a balcony at the top of the house, and all the visitors went to it), and found out that giving the headmaster coffee boosts your score.

Meanwhile I downloaded Inteenimator, and got Ria pregnant (still a teen) with Randy. They got married and moved out. Later Oliwas born. They proceeded to also have Finn, Heidi, Gail, and Seamus.

Meanwhile Jack grew up and married Vyn. They adopted Reagan, who is adorable.

Family portrait time! And hey, don’t judge me, I didn’t know to hide plumbbobs yet back then.

Page 15: The Kane Legacy

Meanwhile Elle moved out. She had a child, Bennett, with a random townie who she never married. Now this is where it gets weird.

Page 16: The Kane Legacy

I grew up this random townie (surprised it didn’t make my game explode) who I thought was adorable. Weirdly, she was a girlfriend at one point of Dennis’s. She got married to Bennett, who then passed away.

Page 17: The Kane Legacy

…But not before she had twins, Nevaehand Tucker. So Elle has adult grandchildren, though she’s still an adult.

I loved Denai and Alvin, and was really sad when they passed away. Denaiwas one of my favorite sims. At one point, when I was really bored with my game, I made up the story that she had cancer. But it made me so sad that I stopped it.

After they passed Dennis began dating Viola.

Page 20: The Kane Legacy

They got married in a really pretty ceremony where everyone had matching clothing and everything.

Page 21: The Kane Legacy

They had a daughter, Cicily, who is their only child and therefore the heir. Unfortunately this is only as far as I’ve played. I don’t think I’ll ever finish it. It’s nice to look back on it, though.

Page 22: The Kane Legacy

I love their house, as it’s the only one that I custom-made, and, in fact, the first one that I ever built from scratch. So here’s a tour.

Page 23: The Kane Legacy

Here’s the dining area and the kitchen, which was on a stage.

Page 24: The Kane Legacy

Here’s the living room and the study.

Page 25: The Kane Legacy

Cicily’s room is at the top and Dennis and Viola’s room is at the bottom.

Page 26: The Kane Legacy

At the bottom is the study-type area off of the master bedroom, and at the top is a sunroom much like the one at the old house where Dennis and Viola fell in love.

Page 27: The Kane Legacy

At the top is the firepit and deck area, and at the bottom is the swingset and awesome tree house I made for Cicily, which is more like a play house with her baby dolls.

Random glitches and other things

Here’s the main street where all the houses were. The order of living is left to right. Now the spares live in each of the old houses.

This is the Kane Graveyard, the only community lot.

Page 30: The Kane Legacy

This is the house Cicily was supposed to live in. It was originally in Pleasantview, and it’s a gorgeous victorianhome. My simselflives in it in several ‘hoods.

Page 31: The Kane Legacy

Oh no! The house is in the middle of the road!

Page 32: The Kane Legacy

Cicily! It’s not nice to go to the bathroom inside your mother.

Page 33: The Kane Legacy

This picture’s just flat-out gorgeous.

Page 34: The Kane Legacy

There’s a story behind this one. This is Virginia Howe, a teen townie who is really pretty. She mothered Bennett, Elle’s son, ’s children.

She also dated Dennis at one point in time. This was one of those dates, when they were watching TV together.

Random guy: What? That it?

Yep, it is. And yep, I have no idea who that is.

Disclaimer:

I am not responsible for the quality of these pictures, or the discontinuity of the story. I was not planning to ever write a story for

this when I played it, and only took pictures when I thought something was funny.

Anyway, thanks for reading!
