Jennifer has been the Director of Tennis at the Hilton El Conquistador since 1999. A former world class touring pro, she has distinguished herself as an outstanding player. As a junior, Jennifer became the number one ranked player in the nation. Following her junior career, Jennifer played two years at UCLA, becoming a two time All-American. Having played all the major events and grand slams as a touring professional, Jennifer reached the round of sixteen in the Australian Open Doubles Championship. Along with her professional training and background, Jennifer brings a vibrant and enthusiastic teaching style to the tennis court.

Chip tidd (Ct)Chip has been teaching full-time in Tucson for 11 years and has amazing enthusiasm and energy. Chip played collegiate tennis for Carleton College in Minnesota where he was named “Freshman of the Year.” He then transferred to the U of A in 2001 and decided to use his great personality and love and knowledge of tennis to inspire and teach others. Chip thoroughly enjoys working with players of all ages and levels.

SPECial NoTES: aDvaNCE SigN-uP REquiREDFees can be pro-rated for players that cannot attend all days. Players in all programs will have the option of attending only certain days of programs, ONLY if deter-mined in advance with Jennifer. All inquires should be directed to Jennifer at 544-1780 or 544-1900.

*Proper court shoes must be worn.* Players should call the El Conquistador if there is a question regarding weather conditions and status of classes.*Quickstart courts and teaching method used for 10 and under.

Jonathan grew up in Tucson and Tennis has been a major part of his life since learning the game from his father, John Davis. After completing a very success-ful junior career, Jonathan went on to Eastern Wash-ington University where he was pivotal in helping his team capture, for the first time in school history, the Big Sky Conference Championships. Jonathan contin-ues to compete and has played on the SAZ Men’s 5.0 Championship team as well as the 9.0 Mixed Doubles SW Section Championship team. Jonathan is USPTA certified and brings an exciting approach to the El Con-quistador.

ThE aCaDEmy: (SiTE - ThE RESoRT)Players can train five days a week. This program covers all facets of the game. Serious Junior players will work on technique, strategy, and footwork. Realistic drill situations, high intensity play and plyometric training make this program unique and successful.

lEvEl ii: iNTRoDuCToRy - (agES 6-12)Players can train three times a week. The introductory program develops sound stroke mechanics for the serve, forehand, back-hand and volley. Rallying concepts and scoring are introduced.
