JOURNEY OF THE FOOD

Our food travel a long way to a reach our plate.

Fruits , vegetables , spices, grains are grown in farms by farmers.

Do you know where our food originates from?Farmers produce food. Let us see the journey of food.STEP 1: To grow crops the farmer has

to plough his field.

STEP 2:

He will then sow the seeds.

STEP 3:

From time to time, the farmer has to sprinkle fertilizers and pesticides on his crops.

STEP 4:

When the crop is ready the farmer has to harvest his crops.

STEP 5: After harvesting the farmer

stores the grains in the wearhouses.

STEP 6: These sacks which were stored in

wearhouses will be transported to the wholesaler.

STEP 7:

From the wholesale market it is then transported to all shops of the country[retailers]

STEP 8:

Our parents buy the food items from retailers and bring them for cooking.
