NOTIFICA TION It is notified for information of all the concerned candidates of Classes 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th in particular and other stake holders in general:- 1. That the syllabi of Home Science of Class 9th, for “Physically Challenged” students has been revised from the Academic Session 2015-16 for Kashmir Division/Winter Zone areas of Jammu Division and Academic Session 2016- 17 in case of Summer Zone areas of Jammu Division. 2. That the syllabi of Geography for Class 10th has been revised in view of New Textbook of Geography and syllabi of Economics chapter of Social Science and Home Science for “Physically Challenged” students of Class 10th has also been revised for the current Academic Session 2015-16 in case of Kashmir Division/Winter zone areas of Jammu Division and for Academic Session 2016-17 in case of Summer zone areas of Jammu Division. 3. That the syllabi of English Literature, Sociology, and Electronics for Higher Secondary Part-Ist (Class 11th) have been revised. Besides the assessment of Mathematics of Class 11th has also been revised. 4. The syllabi of Newly introduced Public Administration subject has also been incorporated in the syllabi of Higher Secondary Part Ist & Part-II (Class 11th & 12th) for the Academic Session 2015-16 in case of Kashmir Division/Winter/ Zone areas of Jammu Division and Academic Session 2016-17 in case of Summer Zone areas of Jammu Division. 5. That the Syllabi of Home Science (Elective),Home Science (Full Stream) i.e. Human Development, Clothing for the Family and Extension Education for Higher Secondary Part-II (Class 12th) have been revised/changed. Besides, the assessment of General English of (Class 12th) has also been revised. 6. The Computer Key Board has been incorporated in the syllabi of Type writ- ing and Shorthand for Class XI and XII. The Question papers for Annual Regular / Fresh Private candidates who have to appear in October, 2016 in Kashmir Division/ Winter Zone areas of Jammu Division and the candidates who have to appear in March 2017 in Summer Zone areas of Jammu Division will be set from the revised syllabi/assessment in the revised/changed subjects. The printed syllabi copies are available in the Textbook stores of Jammu & Kashmir State Board of School Education, at Rehari Colony, Jammu/Bemina, Bye Pass, Srinagar and the revised syllabi/assessment of above mentioned subjects are also available on the BOSE website:www.jkbose.co.in.
