The bicycle was a great invention. After it was invented people did not have to walk to work and other places. Ernest & Pierre Michaux invented the velocipede in 1790. Ernest & Pierre Michaux invented it because they wanted transportation. They did not want to walk. The bicycle is also something that you can exercise on. It has changed a lot over the years.

Pierre & Ernest Michaux were born in the 1800’s. Pierre was a blacksmith from France. They invented the first bicycle with pedals and a cast iron frame. It was called the Velocipede.QuickTime™ and a
