30th Nov 2010: Pune experienced the biggest dance

ex travaganza - Shiama k’s Winter Funk 2010. The students of the academy presented two shows on the theme – Evolution of Cinema that took the audience back to the magica l moments in the 18th Century to the generation nex t of Tinseltown.

The shows opened on 30th November 2010 at 1.00pm in Yeswantrao Chavan Natya Gruha, Kothrud, Pune.

Over 65 batches from Shiama k’s classes in the city performed to latest blockbuster songs a f ter a rigorous workshop spanning over two months. The shows had captivating acts including Timeless Ta les, Globa l Icons, and Love themes amongst a host of others. A tota l of 1000 Dance enthusiasts came forward to sha ke a leg at the spectacular show from the age group of 4 to 84. An ama lgamation of Old into new was portrayed through dances like Chod Do aancha l and O haseena. The show stoppers were of course songs like Sheela and Munni.
