IELTS is accepted by the majority of Australian, British, Canadian, Irish, New Zealand and South African academic institutions, by many academic institutions in the United States, and also by various professional organisations. IELTS is also accepted by Australia, New Zealand and Canada for immigration purposes. The test is now recognised by over 6,000 organisations worldwide; and more than 1.25 million candidates sit the exam each year. The Test The IELTS test is in four sections; listening, reading, writing and speaking, and lasts for approximately 3 hours. Candidates receive their scores within two weeks, giving them a band score of between 1 (no language ability) to 9 (native-speaker level language ability). What level of English do students need to be accepted on to the courses?
These courses prepare candidates who need to take the Academic Module. You should
have an Intermediate or an Upper Intermediate level of English.
NOTE: We also deliver a preparation course for the General Training Module.
Students at an Elementary level would be recommended to attend this course

IELTS Reading and Writing
IELTS Reading and Writing is an intensive course that will help to improve your reading
and writing skills and specifically prepare you for the IELTS Academic Reading
questions, and the Academic Writing Task 1 and 2 test questions.
IELTS Pre-Test Course
The course specifically focuses on preparing you for the exam. We will take you through
the steps of each task in the IELTS Test. The course involves practicing past exam papers
while focusing on specific errors to improve your test score.

IELTS Speaking and Listening
IELTS Speaking and Listening course focuses strictly on the speaking and listening part
of the test. This increases grammatical proficiency, in key areas such as tenses and
grammatical structures. The teacher also focuses on the academic vocabulary which is
intended to increase lexical resource; this is done through discussing and presentingfacts and opinions about a range of topics.
