On the 18th to the 20th of March the Year 8 students of St Andrews Middle School went to Camp Adair. On the second day at camp

we had an extremely tiring tramp.

First we had to pack our lunches and put them in our day bag with all the stuff we needed for the enormous tramp. Then we heard an ear piercing whistle. It was Miss Thompson. It was time for the tramp.

My legs were aching we weren’t even a quarter of the way there. All you could hear were birds chirping, cicadas singing, and people shouting. Eventually we had a lunch break.

5 minutes after that we were straight back into it, all of our drink bottles were empty then all of a sudden we heard water. “YAAAA” shouted everyone. We had finally made it to the humongous, amazing waterfall. Lucky there was a tap to full up your water bottles. There was a humongous walk back to camp and I for one never want to do it ever again.

My feet hurt for a week!
