on the Sahel food and nutrition crisis of 2011-

2012. Although the crisis was triggered by the

third drought in seven years, other factors

including high food prices, conflict in Mali and a

reduction in remittances further weakened the

ability of the poorest communities to cope. The

film shows how aid agencies are using innovative

programmes to help millions of people meet their

immediate food needs, as well as strengthen their
