Set up in 2006 by Mr. Park Won-Soon Korean society is facing unprecedented

social, local, and cultural challenges. Social Innovations are the Key to them. Social innovation must involve citizen’s

participation. From Small beginnings, it has grown

into a big organization.

Development: We conducted a survey, held a forum. Seoul Metro, Ministry of Transport and citizens were invited. Finally Seoul metro accepted the idea.

Development: We went through the same

process as subway handles. We launched a campaign “Caring for pregnant women with cooperation of Ministry of Gender Quality and Ministry of Health. We gave pregnant women badges declaring their expectant status in the hope that other passengers would make way for them.

“I am 3 months pregnant. I am not showing yet. However, I often feel tired while standing in public transportation. We need a priority seat for anyone in need ”
