The Honorable Georgette Mosbacher, CEO and President of Borghese, Inc. to Receive Special “Founder’s Award” at 17 th Annual HFC New York Charity Gala New York - February 4, 2015 - During the 17th Annual New York Open Your Heart to the Children Benefit the Honorable Georgette Mosbacher, CEO & President of Borghese, Inc., will be presented with the Hedge Funds Care/Help For Children (HFC) Founder’s Award. It is given in recognition of her work spearheading, the Manhattan Children’s Advocacy Center in 1995, now known as The New York Center for Children, a privately financed, tax-exempt charity dedicated to assisting abused children and their families. Ms. Mosbacher is a successful business leader, nationally recognized political activist and fundraiser, public speaker, author and an advocate for women, children and our Military Veterans and their families. The annual HFC New York benefit, one of the hedge fund industry’s premier charity events, will take place on Thursday, March 5, 2015 at Cipriani 42nd Street (110 East 42nd Street, NYC). The event will unite 1,000 hedge fund executives for an evening that will feature cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, networking, a silent auction, and live entertainment. Proceeds will fund programs focused on the prevention and treatment of child abuse in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. Co-chairs for this year's gala are Gerry Polizzi, Managing Director at UBS, Asli Ay, Managing Partner at US Policy Metrics, and Steven Nadel, Partner at Seward & Kissel.
