The Holiday Gone Bad

I wake up to my clock buzzing like a bee its 7:30 in the morning Today is different to other days Today we are going tom Brazil for our Holiday to make the flight quicker the pilots decided to take a different route to Brazil to shorten the flight by 1 hour. I heard we will be flying past uncharted islands

I quietly tip toe down stairs trying not to wake up my parents I make my breakfast and sit down and as I am about to turn on the TV I see a map of the world there are to lines witch symbolise the routes one witch we would normally take and the other is the one were taking now I turn on the TV and eat my breakfast . Finish my breakfast I look at the time it is 8 I rush past my parents bedroom to see them getting dressed we have to leave lucky we are already packed.

In 10 minutes we are dressed and ready to go. Filled with excitement we rush out the door and into the car.We arrive at the airport earlier than expected we go through all the customs than on time we arrive in the waiting area as we line up to go onto the plane a large amount of people rushed to the back of the line lucky we came early.

As we walked through the walkway we heard the pilot announce the flight time and that there will be turbulence along the way. we sit down I look to the front and I see a lady run through the safety procedures.

After 20 minutes of waiting for take-off the planes engines start up and then the plane gets into the air strip then take off the plane shoots like a bullet going faster and faster the plan shoot up into the air and into the clouds we look through the window to see a sheet of clouds below us like a white fluffy blanket.

I wake up from my sleep tired and exhausted we were half way there. Then out of nowhere there was major turbulence then I saw out the window the engines failing then we were falling everyone else was panicking and did not follow emergency procedure but me and my family did.

I was scared everyone was all I could hear was screaming crying and then suddenly a BIG BANG! I wake up there is debris and fire everywhere but surprisingly no one else but me and my family. I was cut and bleeding but I was fine nothing major no broken bones the same with my parents. I searched for anyone at all but nothing but my parents searched for survivors on the perimeter of the area.

As I was searching for survivors I saw one of the pilots limp out of the cockpit he saw me and called me over to help him I helped him into a seat they told me something about a beacon in the plane for help and rescue helicopter I saw my parents come pack happy to see someone else they made there way to what’s left of the they found the beacon and tried to start it up but there were no batteries for it witch made things a lot more harder.

They searched the cargo for batteries that fitted the potable beacon they opened every single electronic device for the right battery size . But they found one in a I pod touch they placed it in the beacon battery slot it worked they turned it on now all they have to wait for a helicopter to arrive or a boat or something.

After 2 hours of waiting they saw a helicopter in the distance closing in fast in a minute it was landed the rescue team sent them on board the helicopter and took them back to Australia back to there home.
