Day 01: ARRIVE DELHI
Arrive Delhi by flight. Meeting and assistance on
arrival and transfer to Hotel.
Overnight stay.
Day 02: DELHI
Morning combined sightseeing of New & Old Delhi.
Visit the 12th century Qutab Minar, gracefully hand-
carved for its entire height of 234ft, and the iron pillar,
which has withstood the ravages of time and not
rusted even after 1500 years.
Visit the mausoleum of emperor Humayun – a forerunner of the Mughal style of architecture
and the imposing modern. Lakshminarayan temple. Drive past the India Gate (war memorial
dedicated to the lives of laid down by the Indian soldiers), the preside t’s residence –
formerly the Viceroy’s Palace, parliament House and the Secretariat buildings, – an
interesting blend of the Victorian and 20th century architecture.
Afternoon: Sightseeing of Old Delhi takes you to the Raj Ghat (memorial to Mahatma
Gandhi), Jama Masjid, – The largest mosque in India. Drive past Chandi Chowk, once an
imperial avenue of Mughal Royalty which today is the busiest commercial area of the city.
Enjoy a walk through Chandni Chowk to savour the ambience of an oriental bazaar.

DAY 3: DELHI- SHIMLA
Today morning transfer to railway station to board train for Kalka. 2011 (Shatabdi Express)
Delhi/Kalka 0740/1200 Arrive Kalka and board Himlayan Toy train which will take you
through the Shivalik ranges to Shimla. 255 (Himlayan Queen) Kalka/Shimla 1210/1720.
Your car will simultaneously drive with you carrying your luggage and you can do part of the
journey by train & part by car. Arrive Shimla and transfer to hotel.
Shimla – Queen of Hills – used to be summer capital of during British rule in India. It is at a
height of 2200 meter above sea level. As the Summer Capital of the British in India, Shimla
was the cou try’s focus for the better part of every year and now, is the state capital of
Himachal Pradesh.
Today, it has well developed facilities, easy accessibility and numerous attractions making
it one of I dia’s most popular hill resort. Situated in the lower ranges of the Himalayan
mountains, it is surrounded by pine deodar, oak and rhododendron forests.
Towards the north lie the snow-covered high-ranges, while the valleys breathe whispering
streams and swaying fields. Within the town are host of splendid colonial edifices, quaint
cottages and charming walks. Shimla offers a variety of shopping, sport and entertainment
activities. Overnight stay.
DAY 4: SHIMLA
Today morning sightseeing of Shimla visiting Indian Institute Of Advanced Studies, Sankat
Mochan Temple and Jakhu Temple. Afternoon free to stroll in the famous The Mall & The
Ridge. Overnight stay.
DAY 5: SHIMLA
Day ate leisure in Shimla to enjoy the town at your own pace. (No transport service
envisaged) Overnight stay.
DAY 6: SHIMLA- PRAGPUR – DHARMSHALA
Today morning drive to Dharmshala. 302 kms (188 miles) & 7 hours drive. Take a lunch
break en route at Judge’s Court in Pragpur.
Judges Court, the large splendid Country Manor designed in the Indo-European tradition
and built in 1918 for Justice Sir Jai Lal with it’s annex. The buildings stand in a 12-acre
orchard consisting of mango, lychee, plum, citrus and exotic trees like camphor, clove and
cardamom.
After lunch continue the drive to Dharmshala. On arrival check in at hotel.
Dharamshala is a small hill station lying on the spur of the Dhauladhar range about 18 kms
north east of Kangra town. Hill station is wooded with oak and conifer trees and snow
capped mountains enfold three sides of the town while the valley stretches in front. The
snow line is perhaps more easily accessible at Dharamshala than at any other hill resort
and it is possible to trek to snow point after an early or i g’s start.The town of
Dharmshala is divided into two distinct parts. Lower Dharamshala has civil offices and
business establishments with courts, Kotwali Bazar and Upper Dharamshala compose of
places with names which bear witness to its history like McLeod Ganj and Forsythe Ganj.
Since 1960, when it became a temporary headquarter of His Holiness The Dalai Lama,
Dharamshala has risen to international fame as The Little Lhasa in I dia .

Day 09: DHARMSHALA–DELHI
Transfer to airport to board the flight for Delhi. Arrive Delhi & transfer to hotel. Overnight
stay.
Day 10: LEAVE DELHI
Today in time transfer to international airport to board the return flight.
DAY 7: DHARMSHALA
Today morning sightseeing of Dharamshala. Visit the
Dalai La a’s residence and if lucky,an opportunity of
an audience with him at Mcleodganj where a large
Tibetan population now lives. The waterfall of
Bhagsunath is also within walking distance. Spend
some time in the Tibetan colony and visit their local
market & temples.. Overnight stay.
DAY 8: DHARMSHALA
Day at leisure in Dharmshala. Overnight stay.
