REGISTRATION FOR SUMMER IN THE SON
“Summer in the Son” will be here soon! The weekend of
August 23rd through the 25th we will be camping, participat-
ing in fun activities, and worshipping at Restoration Acres
located at 5985 S.R. 124, Hillsboro, Ohio.
For now, the way you will be able to register for camping is by
paper form. We will have the forms available Monday, July
1st. They will be at the Welcome Center in the front lobby,
the South Entrance lobby or the church office. Once you
have read the camp policies and completed the form, you
may turn them into the church office. There are plenty of
camping sites available. Again, Restoration Acres has been
very gracious in letting us use their facilities free of charge,
however, we do recommend a donation to Restoration Acres
of $10.00 per night.
A few of the activities planned for the weekend are: home-
made ice cream, camp fire vespers each evening, 5K, and
bouncy houses.
Bathroom facilities and showers are available for your
convenience.
If you can’t make it for the whole weekend, come for different
activities or the campfire and vespers in the evening. We will
have a schedule of the different events coming soon. Keep
watching the newsletter for more information!
We are missing several home communion trays. Please
check your homes and vehicles and return if you have any of
them. Thanks!
