17. MOMENTUM BREWHOUSE“Family-Friendly”; Brewery Tours; Tasting Room.Offering brewhouse tours and a tasting room, Bonita Springs’ first brewery is a must visit for any beer lover, but the whole family is welcome! Owner-operator Brian Hahn opted for something a little different when he began planning Momentum Brewhouse. Hahn went outside the box in laying out the taproom. He patterned it not on a sports bar or such, but after a family-friendly coffee shop.

18. NAPLES BEACH BREWERYSpecialty Brews With Unique Flavors.Who better to operate a Florida microbrewery than a golf course superintendent from Michigan who learned his beer-making in Chicago and Munich? Well, based on solid reviews around the Web, maybe no one. Will Lawson, owner/head brewer at Naples Beach Brewery, turns out the standards – Weizen, American Amber and others – as well as the unique – a Belgian Tripel adds candied ginger and mango, while the Specialty Stout is aged on coconut crème coffee beans.

19. MARCO ISLAND BREWERYFull Taphouse; Indoor/Outdoor Bar; Pub Food Menu.Marco Island Brewery bills itself as small. Unabashedly small. Just three brews small. Small to the point of sometimes running out of those home brews: Tigertail Red Ale, Pelican Pilsner and The Rock IPA. Small? Sure. But big enough demand that they rolled over to a taphouse format, to supplement their supplies and meet demand for craft beers. Now, Marco Island Brewery lists 40 beers on tap, pulled from specialty brewers around the world. Plus, a full pub-style menu, from pizzas to steaks.

Walt and Amy Costello, the husband-and-wife team behind the brewery, still turn to the island to inspire flavors and names, though. To wit, the Sanibel Saison, a “beach house” brew with strawberry notes. And the Snook Bite IPA, an ale dotted with mango, lemon, citrus, and other tropical fruits.
