Most of our children are grown and it’s so much fun to shop for little ones again. I know these toys will be very appreciated. The magic happens with Breakfast with Santa on Sunday, December 17. Breakfast starts at 9 AM and Santa arrives at 10 AM. Children and grandchildren of members are invited. There is a sign-up sheet on the bulletin board for ages 11 and under. Sign up needs to be by December 8 so we can get the list to Santa. We’ve also invited families from Social Services and children from Head Start to join us. Breakfast for the children is free. Your Board of Officers, Kristie, Angie, and Tracey all wish you a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! You'll be surprised to see an old face as your administrator again, so stop in and say hello. As always, the lodge will be hosting the annual two hour (4 to 6 PM) member appreciation open bar on Christmas Eve with live entertainment. Remember, this is for our North Port Lodge members and this year the free drinks will consist of draft and bottled beer along with our well drinks. Top shelf will cost you $2 which is still a great deal. We will be closing shortly after 6 PM on Christmas Eve and will reopen on Christmas Day from 10 AM to 5 PM for those who want to come in and keep bartender AJ company. Congratulations to Jr. Governor Terry Seals on his award of North Port Moose of the Year. His plaque is on the wall outside my office. We recently honored Lodge 764 U.S. military veterans and Paul Hedrick was awarded Veteran of the Year. Congratulations to you too Paul. We will be hosting the next meeting of FBMA District 22 at noon on Saturday, December 9. Stop in and learn what activities are happening at lodges around us, play the 50/50 and stay for lunch. Our membership has increased another 50 members since last year and now stands at 758 men members with very few volunteers (that was a hint). As always, please don't give me gifts this Christmas (LOL). Have a safe and happy holiday. If you’re in town at the end of the month, stop by on New year’s Eve, we’re planning great food and fun to welcome in year 2018.
