The group meeting their hosts for their Casa Particulares. There were two to four students paired with a host family. This was our lodging while in Cuba.
We traveled around Havana city and the
rest of Cuba by coach.
Serguei Matinez was our local guide.
He started every morning with a “today
in Cuban history” story.
Oscar was our coach driver and a cigar aficionado.
On our drive to the study abroad lectures, we always passed the
Russian embassy.
Fundación Antonio Núñez Jiménez was our sponsor in Cuba and also the location of the study abroad lectures.
