Day 1 ROME

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Evening transfer to the Trasteveredistrict. Welcome to Rome! Upon arriving at the airport, we will bewaiting to transfer you to your hotel. Check the informationboards in the hotel reception area for details of the welcomemeeting with your guide and fellow travellers. In the evening wewill transfer you to Trastevere area (this neighbourhood will be agreat introduction to Rome). Take a stroll in the narrow cobbledstreets of the Trastevere district and find its hidden treasures,such as some modest medieval churches and small shops withinteresting souvenirs. Many trattorias (informal Italian eatingestablishments) and osterias (inns) filled with the Italian spirit, willbe ready to serve you local dishes. Other restaurants servinginternational cuisines can be found in this area. After dinner wereturn to the hotel.

Day 2 ROME

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: City tour of Rome. Roman Coliseumand Vatican City. Evening transfer. In the morning, we will have atour of the city, which will be a great introduction to “The Eternalcity”. We enter the tiny state of the Vatican. The Vatican City is aprincipal centre of Christianity in the world. You will be able tovisit St. Peter’s Basilica. We will also enter the Roman Coliseum(admission price included), the principal symbol of Rome. Thisimpressive con­struction dates back 2,000 years and willtransport us in time so that we can learn about ancient society inthe Roman Empire. In the evening we will transfer you to the ViaCavour area, where you will find many interna­tional restaurantsto enjoy your dinner at. After dinner return to the hotel.

Day 3 ROME - FLORENCE

TODAY’S HIGLIGHTS: Tour with a local expert from Florence.View from Piazzale Michelangelo. Today we will leave Rome,heading north. This route has beautiful landscapes. Arriving inFLORENCE, we head straight to the impressive PiazzaleMichelangelo. In the evening we take a tour with a local expert,walking through the historic centre, taking in places such as thePonte Vecchio, the Duomo, and Plaza della Signoria. This city istruly an outdoor museum. Enjoy some leisure time to explore. Inthe evening you will have time for dinner, as, in this district youcan find many restaurants serving international cuisine.

Day 4 FLORENCE - VENICE

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Boat on Venice’s Canal. Visit andadmission to the St. Mark´s Basilica. Admire the technique ofcrafting Murano Glass. Today we enjoy stunning mountainlandscapes while crossing the Apennine Mountains. We willarrive in VENICE and take the boat and cross the Giudecca tothe Island of Venice. With a local guide, we will visit themarvellous St. Mark´s Square and enter the Basilica (entranceincluded). Afterwards, we will visit the Murano Glass Factory. It isfascinating to see the technique of how this ancient glass ismade. Enjoy some time at leisure to explore. Accommodation inthe Mestre district.

Day 5 VENICE - VERONA - ZURICH

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: We visit the city of Romeo and Juliet.Beautiful countryside while crossing the Alps (lakes and snowymountains). We will depart from Venice, travelling to VERONA.When we arrive in Verona we will take a shuttle to the historiccentre. Our guide will instruct you on the places where you will beable to walk in Romeo and Juliet’s city - the city of lovers!Afterwards we continue our journey to LUGANO, thecosmopolitan capital of the Italian Switzerland with its beautifullake. Time to stroll and have some lunch. Journey on to Zurich,beautiful lakes and mountains with snow-capped peaks line ourroute. Arriving in ZURICH enjoy some free time in the historiccentre next to the lake. Here you will be able to dine in one of themany restaurants serving a variety of international cuisine.

Day 6 ZURICH - LUCERNE - ZURICH

TODAY´S HIGHLIGHTS: Admire the fantastic landscapes. Cablecar included to Grindelwald first. Lunch included. Today´sjourney has beautiful landscapes with high mountains and lakes.Breathtaking scenery in the region of Interlaken. We will stop inGRINDELWALD where we will have time for a coffee beforetaking the cable car up to mountain. We will walk along thewinding path which will lead us to the "footbridge over theempty". Dare to walk along the bridge amongst the fantasticscenery enjoying glaciers all around us. We will take lunch up themountain (included) before heading back down. We continue toLUCERNE, one of the most beautiful cities in Switzerland. In theevening we have time to stroll around, enjoying the city andtaking dinner before we return to the hotel in Zurich.

Day 7 ZURICH - BERNE - PARIS

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Explore Bern, the capital city ofSwitzerland. We will embark on a scenic journey to BERN,capital city of the confederation built around a bend in the AareRiver, with its medieval architecture well preserved in the OldTown. Time to take a stroll. Next, we journey back to France.Enjoy beautiful lake views on our trip to PARIS. We will arrive inthe evening.

Day 8 PARIS

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Paris City tour. Climb to the secondfloor of the Eiffel Tower. Boat ride along the Seine. Eveningtransfer. Today we will take you on a guided tour in which youwill discover the history, main boulevards and the breathtakingmonuments of the city of Paris. We will stop at the Eiffel Towerwhere you will have the opportunity to climb up to the secondfloor of this remarkable wrought-iron monument (ticket admissionincluded). The tour will end with a boat cruise along the RiverSeine, which divides north and south Paris. Enjoy an afternoon atyour own leisure to explore and relax! At sunset you can grabdinner in the Latin Quarter, a very picturesque and historic areawhere a wide variety of international cuisines await you. We willthen return to hotel. Note: There might be very long lines toclimb the Eiffel Tower. For operational reasons, if deemedappropriate, the climb can be made at a different time of the day(or on Monday).

Day 9 PARIS - ROUEN

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Rouen historic centre. We will start theday by going to the centre of Paris, to the area of the LouvreMuseum. Enjoy some leisure time to explore. If you wish, we canaccompany you to Benlux, one of the most complete and best-known perfumeries in Paris. At around 18.00 we will leave Parisfor ROUEN, with its houses with half-timbered walls, narrowstreets and gothic churches. Accommodation in the city.

Day 10 ROUEN - ENGLISH CHANNEL - CANTERBURY - LONDON

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS. Ferry crossing to United King­dom.Stroll alongside Tower Bridge.Today we will take a stroll in thecentre of Rouen to admire its magnificent cathedral and theancient streets of the historic centre. After this we travel to thenorth of France. Travelling by ferry, we will cross the EnglishChannel to reach CANTERBURY, the religious capital of Englandwith a very attractive historic centre. Continuing to LONDON,arriving with time to explore, visit Tower Bridge to see it lit up andadmire the modern buildings. Time for dinner in one of the manyrestaurants offering a variety of cuisines. After dinner, return tothe hotel.

Day 11 LONDON

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Visit London. Changing of the Guard.Evening transfer to Soho. Get to know LONDON on a locallyguided tour featuring style, cul­ture and history. See the Housesof Parliament, the River Thames, the Tower of Lon­don andBuckingham Palace, where we will be able to watch the famous“Changing of the Guard” (depending on the season). Afternoonat leisure. In the evening, take a walk-through Leicester Square,China Town and Soho, with a lively atmosphere, theatres andentertainment. Sit down for dinner at your preferred restaurant.Return to the hotel.

Day 12 LONDON - COLCHESTER - FERRY COLCHESTERVOLENDAM

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHT: British Museum. Pleasant hill scenery.Ferry crossing. After breakfast we will go to the British Museum,one of the oldest museums in the world. At lunch time we transferto Camden, a district famous for having one of the most variedand extravagant street markets in London where we can seerelics from cultures all around the world. Enjoy some leisure time.At around 16.00 we will leave for COLCHESTER, known as themost ancient city in England. Time for a stroll. We will then boardthe ferry in Harwich, taking a night voyage to the Netherlands.Note: The ferry used has a limited number of cabins. Sometimeswe might change the itinerary, leaving London at 15.00 and takethe Channel Tunnel, and spend the night in Antwerp.

Day 13 FERRY COLCHESTER VOLENDAM - VOLENDAM -AMSTERDAM

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Picturesque typical village of Volendam.Visit to Amsterdam. At around 08:00 in the morning we will reachthe Netherlands (Hoek Van Holland), making a stop inVOLENDAM, a very picturesque fishing village. After this, wetravel to AMSTERDAM where we will enjoy a panoramic visit ofthe city to see its narrow canals, its official buildings and parks.We will also see the technique of diamond cutting. Time fordinner in Rembrandtplein, an area with many restaurants from allcorners of the world and near the red-light district with its liberalvalues.

Day 14 AMSTERDAM

After breakfast, end of our services.

Rome: The eternal metropolis.Rome: Evening transfer to the Esquilino district and ViaCavour area included.

Florence: Pure Renaissance in a walk.Florence: Open-air Museum.

Florence: Ponte Vecchio.Venice: Fascination and elegance in a tour with gondolasand music.
