EXAMPLES of NEXT STEPS
• Partnership approach to supporting work on identifying additional / different health needs of people with a learning disability - to enable NHS staff to be aware of needs and promote access to specialist LD staff support.
• Partners in Communication Training to support staff working with clients with challenging behaviour.

• LD Dementia Pathway– share current draft and consider factors to enable effective implementation.
• Partnership approach to identifying evidence to consider how best to meet needs of clients with challenging behaviours.
• Build relationships and create more opportunities for liaison with LD colleagues through videoconferencing event to enable a “getting to know each other”.
EXAMPLES of NEXT STEPS
• .Role of LD nursing to support developments: support meetings with CLDNs with special interests and managers through work shadowing opportunities in Aberdeen and telephone support and advice when necessary.
• Follow up visit to focus on support to NHS around responding to differing/additional health needs – possible workshop with GPs and NHS staff.
