them the things concerning Himself in all the Scriptures.”

John 21:31 “but these have been written so that you may

believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing you may have

life in His name.”

1 Corinthians 15:3-4 “For I delivered to you as of first

importance what I also received, that Christ died for our sins

according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He

was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures.”

The Narrative is the Gospel of Jesus Christ

The Bible isn’t just history,it is His Story

Because the Bible reveals the Son, the Bible is the self-

revelation of God

Like the wise man in Joshua 1 and Psalm 1, we meditate on the Scriptures as the written

Gospel of Jesus Christ

The Grand Narrative is not a story about how to live, but a Story about how to have Life.
