Banister Glidewell, Born lS00 in Virginia, married in Granville, North Carolina in lS19 to Nancy Anne Hawley, born in lS02 in Virginia. They moved to Lincoln County, Tennessee around lS34 where most of their children were born. About lS44 Banister and Nancy moved to Tippah County, Mississippi, and purchased 160 acres of land from George T. and Mary Ann Cotton. By lS59 Banister and Nancy Glidewell had moved to Randolph County, Arkansas. In lS60, in Randolph County, Mary A. and her mother, Nancy Anne died. In January ls61 Banister Glidewell died.
